Initially established in the UK, our international coverage has expanded to meet the growing needs of our client base.
We are now a pan-European organisation with fully owned and controlled operations in the UK, Germany, Spain and Italy. Our highly skilled, employed engineers stretch across these territories and also into Belgium, Netherlands, France and Portugal. This infrastructure allows us to deliver service across these territories; we are also able to offer support into neighbouring countries offering our customers a unique pan-European solution.

Established in 1985, Veritek began by offering after sales services to the Photo imaging sector. Our business has evolved in tandem with the manufacturers we work with and the end users who use their products, embracing new technologies and adapting to the shift from analogue to digital.
Key milestones in the Veritek timeline include entry into Healthcare in 2007 as the outsourcing partner to AGFA Healthcare; extension into Optometry in 2010 with Boots Opticians; diversification into Graphics in 2011 with Epson – a position since consolidated by our thriving European partnership with Hewlett Packard; and further success in Digital Cinema from 2012 with Sony and more recently with Barco and Christie.
Our optimised management structure ensures that we remain close to our staff and customers. A strong management team ensures the business is financially strong, operationally efficient, customer aware and striving for the next challenge. Our clients rely on Veritek’s network of more than 300 highly skilled technicians and support staff, located across Europe.
As well as being specialists in their field, our engineers are trained by the equipment manufacturers’ own technical teams, giving them a complete understanding of your valuable hardware and software assets.
Ben is a qualified accountant and spent the majority of his career, previous to Veritek, working within the manufacturing sector. Ben joined Veritek in 2008 as Group Financial Controller. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and Chief Financial and Operating Officer in 2017. Ben has been overseeing the financial management and control of the business and has had overall responsibility for the Operations teams, including Quality and HR departments.
At the beginning of 2019, with the appointment of a new Operations Director, Ben has taken on the role of Group Commercial Director to focus on managing the relationships with Veriteks ever growing customer base.
Ben is married and has a son; he enjoys cooking, music and art and attempts to stay fit mountain biking and cross country running.
Colin is a seasoned operational leader, having held several senior positions within the telecommunications, media, digital cinema, and payment services sectors. He has a focus on continuous service improvement, driving client satisfaction and developing efficient operational processes. Joining Veritek in January 2019, his responsibilities include developing and implementing the operational strategy along with the day to day management of the UK Operations team. Outside of work, Colin and his partner are kept busy by the six children they have between them, but he still finds time to enjoy football, films, writing and travel.
Mark is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 15 years of experience across various industries and sectors. Mark has extensive international accounting experience and is someone who leads from the front in a professional manner, ensuring both efficiencies and best practice accounting are employed. Mark joined Veritek Global in May 2019 as Group Finance Director and is responsible for all Financial and HR aspects of the group.
Mark is married with 2 boys and is a sports fan and passionate Liverpool football fan. When time permits Mark enjoys watching films, travelling and following the financial markets.
Jeremy has over 20 years’ experience in sales and sales management, holding several senior positions with start-ups in the software services industry. He has been responsible for developing sales process and driving cost savings and increased revenues for new clients. Jeremy has joined Veritek to expand our OEM service offering, into new clients in new market sectors.
Jeremy has a passion for cars and car restoration, in particular, Jaguar cars. He is also involved with the running of his local non-league football team Worcester City FC.
As Veritek’s Head of Business Development, and drawing on his 17 year experience with Veritek; James takes the leading role in identifying new business opportunities and designing service solutions. James was previously self-employed with retail businesses on the high street and online. James has a passion for adventure sports including Snowboarding, Mountain Biking, Kitesurfing and regularly ‘Wakeboards’ with his 12 year old daughter!
Vanni is GM of Veritek Italy srl and he manages a team of 8 members and more than 20 freelancers and third party companies. In 2008 he joined Veritek (CMS at that time) to oversee Italian business. Prior to joining Veritek he began his career with Agfa Gevaert SpA where he held the position of Service Manager in Photo Imaging Division.
René has prior experience as Technical & Operation Manager, Sales Manager and General Manager for several civil engineering and photo companies in Bogotá (Col.) and Madrid. René is responsible for financial and administrative management and also focuses on new business development. René is a Frenchman by birth and arrived in Spain in 1999 where he has lived since, and before that spent twelve years in Colombia. He has two grown children and enjoys reading 19th and 20th century literature.
Andrew Light, General Manager at Veritek GmbH in Willich, Germany, graduated with a degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 1975.
After working in R&D in the UK, Andrew worked in customer service for various high tech companies such as Crosfield Electronics, Optronics, Cymbolic Sciences, Gretag Professional and AGFA. Andrew’s career in customer service started as a Field Service Engineer, developed into local service management and progressed to regional and pan-European responsibilities leading to his current position as General Manager at Veritek GmbH.
During his career Andrew has lived in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys exploring the scenic beauty of the Eifel region where he now lives, skiing and helping his wife in her quilting business.
