Veritek return from Drupa 2016

Once again the team at Veritek was amazed by the sheer size and scale of the world’s largest graphics and print industry show; Drupa, so much so that they came back for a second visit !

Some 260,000 visitors from 188 countries and some 1,900 journalists from 74 countries travelled to Düsseldorf to learn about technology innovations and were able to browse the stands from the 1,837 exhibitors from 54 countries!! The numbers were so impressive that after 2 days at the show Jim Edgar (CEO Veritek) commented “we are going to have to come back next week”!

Jim Edgar and James Salamon (Head of Business Development – Veritek) attended numerous meetings with existing major customers and potential new ones such as: HP, Highcon, MassivIT, Agfa, Fuji and Landa to name but a few.

James Salamon commented “All of the brands we spent time with were very positive about this year’s event, and all reported strong sales, I guess this is the ‘perfect storm’ for Veritek; the spike in equipment sales creates a huge demand for engineering capability, this allows us to help the manufacturers install equipment and potentially provide on-going service and support”

The second week at the show proved vital, and Veritek look forward to progressing the discussions started in Dusseldorf.
